About Adriana

Hi, I'm Adriana. I support families through one of the biggest transitions of their lives: the shift into parenthood.

I found my way to this work through my own daughter's birth, just over five years ago. It was a traumatic experience, and at the time I didn't have the knowledge I have now about how to plan for and experience a truly nourishing postpartum. I went on to experience postpartum depression and anxiety, along with a deep, whole-body depletion that has taken me years of intentional work to recover from.

It took about eighteen months before I had the capacity to really look back at what had happened, both in the birth itself and in the lack of support I called in and received afterwards. That began a deep dive into birth trauma and physiological birth, and how profoundly both shape the years that follow for a woman and her family. Alongside that, I learned everything I could about how to actually care for women and families in postpartum and how much this period affects women and their families not just for the months or years that follow but several decades beyond the birth experience.

That's the heart of why I do this work. I know firsthand what it costs to go through this season without the right information and support, and how much of that information still isn't mainstream. My goal is to change that: to help women experience postpartum as a nourishing, supported season, one they come through feeling stronger and more themselves, not less.

My approach draws on ancient knowledge and traditions, informed by Ayurveda, traditional Chinese medicine, and indigenous healing wisdom alongside my own clinical training. I believe deeply in conscious, present parenting and in the kind of secure attachment that shapes families for a lifetime.
